How to Cut Lace Curtain Panels
Lace curtains provide a classic sheer layer to your window coverings. While lace sheers come in some sizes in home interior stores, they may not fit irregular or over-sized windows. Luckily, once you know which size you need, you can cut and sew your own lace panels inexpensively for any size window. Measure the length and width of your window with measuring tape. Add 2 inches for both the length and the width. If you are making two panels, divide the window width by 2.

Mark off the measurements onto lace fabric with fabric chalk, using a yard stick to keep your lines straight.

Cut along the chalk lines with sewing scissors to separate your panels.
