3DS Max widely used 3D modeling, rending and animation application. It has many applications in industry, adverting and entertainment. The tools of 3DS Max allow you to create virtually any environment you can imagine, from desert sands to thick jungles. You can even create sci-fi images of deep space.To make these realistic, you need to have a background of stars, or star field.

Instructions

      Start the 3DS Max application. Select "File" from the menu and choose "Open." Browse to and open a scene you want to add your star field to.

      Select "Rendering" from the menu and choose "Video Post." In the dialog that appears, click "Add Scene Event." In the next dialog, choose the camera you want to use from the drop down list and click "OK."

      Click "Add Image Event." Click on the drop down and choose "Starfield" and click "OK."

      Click "Add Image Output Event." In the dialog, file on "File" and choose the location you want to save to and the file type. Click "Open" and then click "OK."

      Select "Rendering" from the menu and choose "Render." You image will be rendered and saved.
