Open up your Internet browser. Click on the address bar at the top of the page and enter the address for the "Kansas City Star."

Scroll to the very bottom of the page. Select "Past Articles" found underneath the "Home" section.

Enter your last name, email address and house number if you are already a Star subscriber and click on "Log In." If you are not a subscriber, click on "Click here to create an account."

Select the type of subscription package you would like to purchase and enter your credit card details. Click the "Submit" button. Enter you address information, personal information and email address. Click on "Submit" to create the account. Return to the log in screen and enter the details you used to create the account. Click on the "Log In" button.

Select the "Year" option on the archive service and type in "1966". Click on the "Search" button. This will display all of the articles the archive has from that year.
