How to Install an Update That Has Made My Colors Much More Vivid

The graphics card installed on your system controls the colors on your computer's display. When you have an out-date-driver on your system, the display will not be able to show the proper resolution or show colors that are vivid. You can update the driver to your system through the Windows Device Manager. Once you update the driver, your graphics card will be able to show the proper colors and the right resolution.

Instructions

1. Click the "Start" button and then click on the "Control Panel" option.

2. Click on the "Hardware and Sound" option and then click the "Device Manager" icon.

3. Click on the "Graphics Cards" option from the menu and then right click on the graphic card icon.

4. Click the "Update Driver" option from the menu and wait for the driver to update. This should take about 20 seconds to complete.

5. Click "OK" to close the window. Restart your system with the new driver in place. Your computer's display will show more colors.
