How to Google Sync With iOS 4
Google Sync keeps your Google contacts, calendar and other Google accounts synced between your computers and mobile devices. Google Sync supports the iOS platform, as long as the device is using version 3.0 or higher. Once the synchronization is complete, you will have access to your Google Calendar events as well as your Google contacts through your phone.

Go to your iOS device's home screen and touch "Settings." Touch "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" from the large settings list. Touch the "Add Account" button to begin this process.

Touch the "Microsoft Exchange" option from the list. Type your Gmail address and password. Skip the domain field, as you do not need to enter it when setting up Google Sync.

Touch "Next" to continue. Cancel any certificate warnings that appear on your screen. Type "m.google.com" and touch "Next." Slide the Google accounts to "On" to add them to your sync. Touch "Keep on my iPhone." Google Sync is now completely set up, and will begin automatic syncing on your iOS device.
