How to Crochet a Jumbo Pinwheel Stitch

How to Crochet a Jumbo Pinwheel Stitch thumbnail
Crocheting jumbo pinwheels can be fun.

The word pinwheel brings to mind summer fun with colorful paper spinners. There is another type of pinwheel, however -- the crocheted kind. A jumbo pinwheel is crocheted very simply with triple crochets, making fan shapes that line up to create full circles. Jumbo pinwheels are easily crocheted once you know what to do, and even crocheters with moderate skills can attempt a jumbo pinwheel crochet pattern.

  • Crochet Cabana advises to avoid knotting your two strands when you change color.
