How to Forward or Copy Mail in Lotus Notes
If you've received a useful, informative or entertaining email in your Lotus Notes application, you can share the email by forwarding the message to your contacts or by copying the text from the email and pasting it into a new email or document. Forwarding or copying an email message in Lotus Notes is a straightforward task that takes only a few seconds.

Open Lotus Notes.

Click the "Mail" tab with the envelope icon in the left-hand navigation menu. Click "Inbox" in the Mail browser pane.

Double-click the email that you want to forward. This opens the email message in a new popup window. Click the "Forward" button in the message menu. Select "Forward" to forward the entire message, "Forward Without Attachments" to exclude attached documents from the forwarded email or "Internet Style Forward" to forward the email message in plain text with no formatting.

Type the email addresses for the recipients of the forwarded email into the "To" and "Cc" fields. To append a message to the forwarded email, type the text into the space above the content of the original email.

Click the "Send" button to forward the email to your selected recipients.
Copy Mail

Open Lotus Notes.

Click the "Mail" tab with the envelope icon in the left-hand navigation menu. Click "Inbox" in the Mail browser pane.

Double-click the email that you want to copy.

Select and highlight the text in the main message body that you want to copy.

Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys on your computer keyboard to copy the email. You can now paste this text into a new email message or separate document.

Tips & Warnings
Lotus Notes offers a copy prevention feature, so you won't be able to forward or copy the email if the original sender has enabled this function.
