How to Display a Photo on MSN Web Messenger
MSN Messenger is an instant messaging program. One feature offered by this application is the ability to upload a photo that will be displayed next to your MSN Messenger ID in your contacts' main screen. Your photo also will appear next to your instant messages in the conversation window. You should choose a photo that is square because it will be reduced to a small square when displayed on MSN; if your photo is rectangular, it will appear out of proportion when viewed by your contacts.

Direct your Web browser to the MSN Messenger website and sign in to your account.

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar and select "Change Display Picture." Press "Alt" if you do not see the menu bar and want to restore it.

Click "Browse" and locate a photo saved to a file on your computer. Click on the photo and then click "Open."

Click "OK" to confirm your selection and set the photograph as your MSN Messenger photo.
