How to Upload Photos on an iPod Touch 3rd Generation
The iPod Touch was the sister device to the iPhone, and shares most of its functionality for running apps, playing music and videos, and showing off photos. Like the iPhone, it relies on iTunes to synchronize data from your media library and the portable device, and for photos, iTunes will tie into a separate photo management program, such as iPhoto on the Macintosh, or Adobe Photoshop Elements on Windows.

1
Gather your photos in either iPhoto or Photoshop Elements, or into a folder you want to copy them from on your computer. Organizing your photos makes everything else in this process much simpler. If you have named your photo collections in iPhoto or Photoshop Elements, this will make synchronizing them and keeping them organized on your iPod touch much easier.
-
2
Plug your iPod Touch to your computer via the USB cable.
-
-
3
Start iTunes if it did not start automatically when you plugged the iPod to the computer.
-
4
Click on the Photos tab of iTunes. At the top of the panel will be a drop-down menu where you can select the source of the photos you want to synchronize. If you have iPhoto or Photoshop Elements installed, this will be the default option. You can then specify which named photo collections you want to copy to the iPod Touch. If you do not have iPhoto or Photoshop Elements installed, you can navigate to a folder that has image files in it.
-
5
Click "Apply." The photos will be synched to the iPod Touch.
