How to Use a Gigaware SVGA Monitor Cable
Use the Gigaware super visual graphics array cable to connect your computer to an external monitor or TV. SVGA is an improved version of the standard VGA cables that can support higher resolutions and more colors. Despite the advances in the technology, the SVGA cable can be used in the same manner as standard monitor cables.

Locate the VGA port on your computer. Gently push one side of the SVGA cable into the port on the computer, and secure the screws on the side of the cable to lock the connection in place.

Run the other side of the cable to the "VGA" or "PC" port on the rear of the TV or monitor and secure the two fasteners on either side of the cable.

Turn on the TV, and press the "Input" button until the image appears on the screen. On computer monitors, the picture from your computer will immediately appear once the connection is established.
