How to Make a Pyramid Hat
Providing craft projects at a children's birthday party or kids' event gives them an activity to do and can keep them organized and entertained. Pyramid hats are easy to make and only require paper, scissors and tape. Kids can decorate them using crayons or markers, or by gluing glitter or other items to their hat. Making pyramid hats not only provides a party activity but gives children something to bring home when the party is finished.

Fold your 12-by-12-inch piece of paper diagonally to create a triangle. Unfold the paper.

2
Fold your piece of paper diagonally in the other direction. Unfold the paper to make two folds going through your paper, creating an X.

-
3
Cut along one of the fold lines until you reach the center of the paper, where the folds meet and create an X.
