How to Give a Praise Report
Prayer, regardless of the religious affiliation, requires thankfulness for previously answered prayers, as well as making current needs a point of emphasis. Praise reports are a way to extol God's works to other people. A praise report is simply a matter of proclaiming "Look what God did for me, or someone I care about." These reports generally occur in a group of like-minded people who wish to praise God as part of a prayer meeting or service.

1
Raise your hand, or otherwise get the leader's attention. Wait for the leader to acknowledge that you have the floor.
-
2
Explain that what you are about to say is intended to praise God for something He has done in your life. This is in contrast to a prayer request, which is intended to ask God to intervene in a situation on your behalf. Something like "I have a praise report," or "I have a praise" is sufficient.

-
3
Share the details of your praise. This should include a brief synopsis of the situation, what you needed to happen, and how God intervened to resolve the matter.

Tips & Warnings
Be careful not to dominate the meeting with superfluous praises. While we should praise Him in all things, offering praise because the lights were all green on the way to church or because there was a short line at the grocery store will quickly annoy your prayer partners.
