How to Remove a Blog Title Widget in Blogger

Blogger is a blog publishing service.

Blogger's Blog Title Widget, commonly referred to as the Blogger Title Bar, is the horizontal bar that appears at the top of your Blogger blog. The bar contains the Blogger logo and a search field which allows others to search the contents of your blog. While this can be a useful tool, some users find the bar takes up space, distracts visitors and takes away from the blog's aesthetics. Fortunately, the bar can be removed.

Instructions

1. Log into your Blogger account.

2. Click "Layout" in your Blogger "Dashboard."

3. Click the "Template" tab and "Edit HTML." Your blog's HTML appears under the "Edit Template" heading.

4. Replace "]] ></b:skin>" in the HTML with the following text:

   #navbar-iframe,#navbar { display: none !important; }

   ]] ></b:skin>

5. Click "Save Template."
