Place a cardboard box down on the floor. You will need the box to be at least 2-by-3 feet so that it will be big enough to cover the child's back.

2
Take a round cake pan and place it face down in the middle of the box down toward the bottom edge of the box. Glue the cake pan in place. Take a box that is 6 inches wide and 12 inches long and glue it down on the upper right corner of the bigger box.

Use scissors or a sharp knife to cut off the ends of two soda pop bottles. Use electrical tape to wrap up the entire body of the bottles. Use the electrical tape to fasten the ends together to form the barrel portion of the proton pack's blaster.

4
Pull out the wiring from a race car gun. Glue the gun portion to the rear section of the bottles to complete the proton pack's blaster.

5
Take the end of a vacuum hose and glue it to the bottom right portion of the cake pan. Run the end of the three-foot hose to the gun part of the blaster and glue the hose behind the handle of the proton pack blaster.

6
Glue one end of a two-foot section of vacuum hose to the upper left corner of the small box located on the upper right corner of the larger box. Run the hose down to the upper left section of the cake pan and glue it in place.

Spray paint the entire proton pack black. Allow the pack a full 24 hours to dry. Take four red reflectors used on bikes and glue them to the four corners of the round cake pan.
