How to Update Paid Apps Without iTunes
The Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch can all run software from the iOS App Store. The iOS App Store offers both free and paid apps in a range of categories like games, social media tools and news readers. App developers will periodically release small updates to apps that appear while you are using iTunes. If you are away from your computer, you can check for app updates and install them directly from your iOS device.
