The speed of the text scroll can be altered using a simple click-and-drag method.

      Select a clip in Movie Maker. Click "Tools" and select "Titles and Credits." Select "Titles" and enter the scroll text.

      Select a font, font size, and color. Close the window and click the "Play" button to view the scroll.

      Click "Show Timeline" to arrange the clips in timeline view.

      Click-and-hold the black dot on the right side of the text scroll clip. Drag the clip left and right to alter the size of the clip. The more space the clip occupies in the timeline, the slower the clip will appear during playback.
