How to Sync the iPhone Over WiFi
The traditional way to sync an iPhone involves hooking it up to a USB cable and plugging it into a computer that has iTunes on it. If you take the right steps, you can also sync your iPhone over a Wi-Fi network. As of the time of publication, you can buy an application for an "unlocked" or "jailbroken" iPhone to make this possible. In the near future, Apple is releasing this as a standard feature of the new operating system.
