How to Send a Moneygram With PayPal
MoneyGram does not accept PayPal as a preferred payment option, but there is a simple workaround, as long as you have a PayPal debit card. You can apply and typically receive a debit card, linked to your PayPal account, within 4-6 business days. For those who already have a debit card from PayPal, you will enter the MasterCard number and card details for the payment method during the MoneyGram transfer process.

Open a Web browser, and navigate to the MoneyGram website at moneygram.com.

Select the country, receiving method and dollar amount. Click the "Get Started" button to continue.

Click the "Select" button for "Same Day" delivery, as this is the only method you can use for credit or debit cards. You will also see the transfer fee listed for the country and dollar amount you chose.

Enter the "Username" and "Password" if you are returning customer, otherwise type your email address, and click the "Go" button.

Fill in all the requested information on the next page. New customers will have to enter personal information, such as name, address, phone number and last 4-digits on their social security number. Ensure you have typed the receiver's name and information correctly, so there are no complications when picking up the money.

Select "MasterCard" for the "Card Type," located under the "Payment method" section. Type the "Card Number," select the "Expiration Date," and type the 3-digit "CVV Number" located on the back of the card. Click the "Next" button to continue.

Review and complete the transaction. MoneyGram will also ask you to set-up security information for the money transfer.

This does not help 99% of the folks looking to get their Paypal money out quicker than withdrawing it to their bank account. If the person had a PayPal debit card they would just go to an ATM rather than pay $20 to send $60 via Western Union or MoneyGram. The PayPal debit card opens you up to a whole plethora of future problems as well. If you have an issue with an eBay transaction in which you sold an expensive item and the buyer rips you off after you were able to withdraw the money which happens all the time, then Paypal has your identity and can post it to your credit report if you do not refund the scamming buyer who either returned a different item or a brick in a box for the expensive iPhone 4S you sent him. I have had this happen several times in the past and Paypal did everything to get me to send my SSN, utility bills, etc for the sole purpose of putting it on my credit report for a $1000 cymbal I sold which the buyer returned a pot lid in a box and eBay/Paypal sided with him. Luckily I had withdrawn my money and let them close the account. Haven't dealt with fleece-bay since.
