How to Get Images From Picasa to Clipboard
Picasa Web Albums is Google's photo management service; alongside it the program Picasa edits and uploads photos from your computer to your Web albums. The Picasa program can be downloaded for Windows, Linux and OS X systems. Although Picasa does not copy image data within the program, you can copy images from your Web albums. By copying an image to your clipboard you can paste that image into your preferred photo editor, as well as applications such as Word or LibreOffice or other photo management programs.

Tips & Warnings
Do not confuse "Copy Image" with "Copy Image Location" or "Copy Image URL." The latter options copy the URL of the image you're viewing rather than the image itself.
Upload images to Picasa Web Albums by selecting a thumbnail and clicking the upload button. You will need to fill in your Google login credentials.
Images cannot be pasted into text only fields; some fields will post the URL of the image, while others will not paste anything at all.
