How to Replace the Battery in an Omega Constellation Watch

Watches are powered by different mechanisms such as batteries or being wound up by the owner. A more recent innovation has been to have self-winding mechanisms inside the watch which is triggered by movement. The Omega Constellation contains such mechanisms. However, the batteries will need to be replaced whenever the battery life indicator on the face indicates that the battery is drained.

Look at the watch face. If the battery life indicator shows the battery needs changing, you will need to take it to an Omega dealer as Omega advises that their replacement should be carried out by an Omega service center or retailer. Omega additionally states that you should do this as soon as possible to avoid battery leakage into the watch.

Open your Internet browser. Navigate to the Omega website. Click on the "Store Locator" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Click on the map where you live to find your nearest Omega dealer. Check the "Watches" box under the map to ensure that the store deals with watches.

Click on the "Customer Service" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Click on the "Watch Repair" link on the left-hand bar. Click on "Find the nearest authorized service center." Click on your country. Click on the nearest city to you to get the address of the repair center.

Take or send your Constellation watch to your nearest Omega dealer or repair center.

Request that the dealer have the battery changed. This might require the watch being sent away to Omega for a few days. A repair center should be able to replace the battery for you quicker.
