  • 2 quart saucepan
  • Heat-proof spatula
  • 3 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 package marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 13 x 9 inch baking pan

      Grease your baking pan using butter, margarine or nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

      Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly with your heat-proof spatula.

      Add the marshmallows, stirring constantly over low heat. Be sure the marshmallows do not overheat, and take them off the burner when they are completely melted.

      Add the Rice Krispies to the saucepan, stirring constantly.

      Pack the Rice Krispie mixture into the greased baking pan. Allow to cool.

      Cut your treats while they are still relatively warm. Cover and place them in the refrigerator to cool.
