How to Put Facebook on a Toolbar
The Facebook Toolbar is an add-on for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers that allows members to stay connected to Facebook. Users receive instant notifications and are able to share content, update statuses and upload pictures right from the toolbar. There is no need to open a new Web page and log in to Facebook when you are logged in to the Facebook toolbar.

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the Facebook Toolbar download page.

Click the "Download Now for Internet Explorer" link

Click "Run" when prompted to begin the toolbar installation process.

Choose your language from the language drop-down menu in the the Facebook IE Toolbar Setup Wizard and click "Next."

Click "Next" when prompted to confirm installation in the Wizard.

Click "Close" to exit the installation wizard when you receive the message "Installation Complete."

Restart Internet Explorer.

Click the "Log in to Facebook" button.

Enter your Facebook username and password and click "Login." The Facebook toolbar appears at the top of your browser.
