How to Import a Web Picasa Album to Facebook

Picasa simplifies picture sharing by offering you one free gigabyte of online storage space. Share the contents of your Picasa Web Albums with Facebook friends by employing a free downloadable application. Use Picasa Uploader to import Picasa pictures and their captions into Facebook. Instructions

1. Download and install the Picasa Uploader from apps.facebook.com/picasauploader. After the application runs and installs, click "Launch Application" when the "External Protocol Window" appears.

2. Click the "Yes" button in the "Confirm" window to launch Picasa with import buttons.

3. Add the "Facebook: Upload To Facebook" button by clicking "Add" from within the "Configure Buttons" pop-up window and click "OK."

4. Choose the Picasa album that you want to upload.

5. Click the "Facebook" button to upload the album to Facebook, then choose "Start Upload" from within the Picasa Uploader application.

6. Grant the Picasa Uploader access to your account, since this is the first time you are using the application. When Facebook requests permission, click "Allow."

7. Confirm that the album's destination is correct and click "Send to Facebook."

8. Confirm a successful upload by looking for an "Upload Succeeded" window. Then click "Go To Album On Facebook" to examine the album's contents.

9. Approve the album upload by clicking "Approve Photos."

10. Share the album with friends. Include a comment and click the "Share" button.

Tips & Warnings

• Any album that contains no more than 200 images may be uploaded to Facebook.
