How to Cook Chipped Beef

- Medium-sized saucepan
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. white flour
- Whisk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- Wooden spoon
- 1 cup dried beef
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Melt 2 tbsp. of butter over low heat in a medium-sized saucepan.

Add 2 tbsp. of white flour and whisk it into the butter.

Whisk 1 1/2 cups of milk into the flour and butter mixture a little bit at a time.

Turn the heat to high and keep stirring the gravy while bringing it to a boil.

Add 1 cup of dried beef and 1 pinch of cayenne pepper, and stir them into the gravy.

Cook the beef for five minutes, or until it's completely warm, while regularly stirring the gravy so it doesn't burn.
