How to Export Revit to AutoCAD

Autodesk Revit provides a toolbar for easily transferring your file to AutoCAD.

Instructions

1. Create your building model in Autodesk Revit.

2. Set up sheets for your specific project in Autodesk Revit.

3. Save your file by clicking "File" and "Save As." When a list of options comes up, select DXF/DWG format.

4. Open the Autodesk Revit file in AutoCAD by opening the DXF/DWG file that you just created.
