How to Get Past the Guards on Counterfeit Island
On Counterfeit Island in the online game "Poptropica," the goal is to help police stop an art thief and retrieve famous works of art. During the investigation, you're captured and learn that the thief is the infamous Black Widow. Although you manage to untie yourself and the strange man and chase after the Black Widow, guards patrol the next area of her hideout on every level. You must get past these guards to reach the Black Widow to stop her.

Save your game immediately after you enter the room where the guards. Click the "Save" button at the bottom-right corner.

Go left until you reach a raised area that you can't walk past. Position the green arrow above this area and click to jump up onto it.

Run left on this level past the first group of boxes and barrels to the far-left side of the screen.

Jump up on the stacked boxes that partially block the last door and then jump right up to the next level. Jump up onto the first box behind the guard on this level and then jump up onto the middle and top boxes.

Look up to the right side and the next level. You will see a guard patrolling back and forth. When the guard turns right, jump up to the level and follow the guard until you see a couch.

Position your cursor above the back of the couch and quickly click to jump on the couch before the guard turns around and sees you. As you bounce into the air, move your cursor to the left to land on the left side of the next level. If you land on the right side, another guard will see you and you will have to start over.

Walk left to the card scanner panel beside the door. Open your items bag and locate the red "Key Card" that has a spider on it that the strange guy dropped during the scooter chase earlier in the game. Click "Use" to use the card and open the door.

Enter the doorway to go to the next area where you will face the Black Widow.

Tips & Warnings
You start the entire area over again whenever a guard sees you.
Always go to the last group of boxes on the first level. Guards on the next level up will see you if you try to jump up from the first group.
The last guard is difficult to get past. You may need to replay the entire area several times before you successfully jump onto the bouncy couch.
