How to See Invisible Yahoo! IM Users
Yahoo! Instant Messenger allows you to chat or conference call with other Yahoo! messenger users and offers features such as photo or video sharing, sounds, avatars and animated images. You can also set your profile to "Invisible" mode. If you have a friend who you suspect is online but is set to "Invisible," you can find out through the "Doodle" IMVironment. It is an art-based IMVironment that allows you to share your work with your Yahoo! friends. It has a function that shows its icons if your messenger buddy is online and if she isn't, it displays a blank page.

Sign in to your Yahoo! Messenger account by entering your username and password in the log-in screen and clicking "Sign In."

Double-click the name of the contact who you think is invisible. You will see a chat window pop up.

Click "IMVironment," then "See all IMVironments."

Click "Interactive Fun," then "Doodle." The Doodle IMVironment will show a blank page pop up if that person is online but invisible. You won't be able to chat with them until they make themselves available.
