How to Set Up FileZilla
FileZilla is a free, open-source file transfer protocol (FTP) client, which allows you to connect to remote FTP servers for uploading or downloading files. If you run your own Web site, FTP is a vital business component to manage your remote files. FileZilla is designed for quick, intuitive connections and offers a "Quickconnect" feature to expedite a one-time connection. However, if you foresee connecting to an FTP server more than once, it will save you time in the long run to set up the FTP site in FileZilla's "Site Manager."
