How to Use Google Voice From a Land Line
Google Voice users on supported smartphones can easily make calls through Google Voice using mobile applications. If you've registered a land line phone number with Google Voice, however, you're probably noticing that your land line telephone has no Google Voice app to initiate phone calls. Instead, you'll need to utilize the Google Voice website to get a call started. You can learn how to use Google Voice with a land line by following a few steps.

Log in to your Google Voice account at Google.com/voice.

Click the "Call" button near the top-right corner of the screen.

Enter the name of the contact you want to call or the phone number you want to call. When the number shows up in the autocomplete search results, click on it.

Click the drop-down box under "Phone to call with" and select your land line telephone number.

Click the "Connect" button to initiate the call. Google Voice will first call your land line phone. After you pick up, Google Voice will call the number or contact you chose in Step 3 and connect you to them.
