How to Stop URLs From Appearing on the Firefox Address Bar
Firefox, a free Web browser, stores all your visited addresses by default. When typing in the address bar at the top of the browser, a drop-down list appears predicting your address based on past websites you have visited. You can also click the downward-pointing arrow in the address bar to view recently visited websites. While often useful, the feature can lead to unwanted transparency if a friend or colleague uses your computer and views items in the address bar. Clear your history and prevent Firefox from saving addresses in order to stop the browser from displaying URLs.
