How to Put Guns on Screen in "Halo"
"Halo: Combat Evolved" is a first-person shooter for the Xbox and PC that has you battling the likes of multiple alien races. The game has a variety of weapons and guns to aid you in your defense, but you won't be able to fire any of the weapons if they aren't on screen. When the game first begins in "The Pillar of Autumn," no guns will be displayed on the screen. This can be confusing to many players, but you can find the solution quickly.

Run into the hallway as soon as you gain control of Master Chief in the level "The Pillar of Autumn." An explosion will make pipes block your path. Jump the pipes and continue in the mess hall where a battle is occurring.

Run through the hall until a Marine stops you. You will temporarily lose control of your character as he asks you to follow him.

Follow the Marine through the hallways as you enter the ship's bridge. A cut-scene will play detailing the current situation of the ship. At the end of the scene, the captain will give you a pistol. Once you regain control of your character, the weapon will automatically appear on screen.
