How to Use the Webcam on Studio 15
Studio 15 is an entertainment laptop created by Dell. Like a lot of laptops, this model features a built-in webcam, allowing you to participate in online video calling and to take pictures with ease. In order to use this camera, you will need to open a piece of software which requires a webcam -- the software will automatically detect the webcam and enable it. The default webcam software on this device is Dell Webcam Central.

Push the power button to start up your computer and wait for it to fully load.

Click the camera icon to open "Dell Webcam Central."

Select the "Snap Photos" tab if you wish to take photographs -- click the camera icon to capture the image display on screen.

Select the "Record Videos" tab if you wish to record videos -- click the record icon to begin recording, click it once more to stop recording.

Open a third party IM program such as Skype, AIM or MSN to access video calling. Sign in using your login details and double-click a contact to begin a conversation. For Skype, click "Video Call" to begin a call. For MSN, open the "Action" drop down list, navigate to "Video" and select "Start Video Call." For AIM, click the "Video" tab.
