How to Make Alphabet Balloons
Alphabet Balloons are a quick and inexpensive crafting project that are ideal for a rainy day. Transform a pack of regular balloons into tools for teaching young children their ABCs, playing word games, or for spelling practice. For a party or celebration, you can also decorate with them by spelling out a special word or name. This project is virtually mess-free. This means that you'll spend less time cleaning up and more time creating.

1
Inflate at least 26 colorful balloons using your own breath or a helium tank; you'll have one for each letter of the alphabet. To create a single word or spell out a name, inflate as many balloons as are necessary. Tie the ends of each one and attach decorative string to helium-filled balloons to keep them from floating away.

2
Stick large-sized alphabet stickers onto each balloon. Be careful not to pop the balloon in the process.

3
Use permanent markers to draw letters onto the balloons if you don't have stickers. Permanent marker will dry quickly and isn't likely to rub off onto hands and clothing.
