How to Make an Animation Over-Rider in "Second Life"

The animation over-rider (AO) in Second Life creates lifelike movements for avatars controlled by a hud. Animations in the hud usually started in a motion capture program. When you create an animation over-rider, you modify the hud with animations and change the notecard that works within the hud's script, which allows you to set the flow of animations the way that you want your avatar to move in the world of Second Life. You need to have the animations and hud before creating the over-rider.

Purchase a free animation override hud, such as ZHAO-II, Oracul Animation Hud or Bright AO, from the Second Life Marketplace. Many free animation huds exist on the Marketplace, but always look at permissions to the sidebar on the right. You need modify permissions to add animations and notecards into the hud, but copy permissions also helps you if you make a mistake or want a second animation over-rider for a different personality.
