How to Make a Rainbow on Twitter
Although Twitter provides a number of default backgrounds that will get you started, you may find you want to customize your background to include an image that better depicts your personal style. If you already have an image -- such as a rainbow -- in mind, it's quite simple to add it to your Twitter background. Perhaps the most difficult part of the job is making sure your image is in the right dimensions so it will look correct as a background.

1
Select your rainbow image from the files and folders on your computer, or save one from an image-sharing site on the Internet. Check the dimensions of the image to make sure it will work as a Twitter background. Generally, Twitter backgrounds should be about 2048 pixels wide by 1707 pixels high.
On sites such as Flickr, you can view an image's dimensions before you download it to your computer. If you already have it saved to your computer, and you're not sure what the dimensions are, many media viewers will give you information on the pixel height and width. The steps for getting this information vary depending on the media viewer you use.
