Learn to draw six squares with a continuous, non-intersecting line.

It may seem difficult to draw six connected squares with a single, non-intersecting line, but once you know the trick, you'll remember it forever. Think of the six squares as the six faces of an unfolded cube.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw four equal line segments going left, down, right and up to make a square.

    • 2

Continue drawing line segments right, down, and left to make a second square.

    • 3

Without lifting your pencil, draw line segments down, right and up to make a third square.

    • 4

Continue drawing the line right, down and left to make the fourth square.

    • 5

Continue drawing down, right and up to make the fifth square.

    • 6

Draw right, down and left to make the sixth square. You now have six connected squares made from a single, non-crossing line.
