How to Cut a 15 Degree Triangle
Measuring angles is a simple task when you have a protractor. A protractor is a half-circle shaped tool, which contains two sets of degree measure for easy marking, with the center line being 90 degrees. Learn how to use a protractor by practicing drawing triangles or other shapes containing specific degree measures.

1
Place the protractor on a sheet of paper, curve side up. Draw a line on the botom edge of the small half-circle window in the protractor. Mark the center point of the line segment. This is one ray of your triangle.
-
2
Observe the right or left side of the protractor and note where 15 degrees is located. On standard protractors, it should be the midpoint between the second and third lines. Mark this point on your paper.

3
Use the straight edge of the protractor to draw a line connecting this point to the center point of the line segment. This is the second ray of the triangle.
-
4
Use the straight edge to draw a straight line that joins the two rays. You can cross through any point on the rays or extend the rays for larger triangles.
-
5
Cut out the triangle. For a sturdier triangle, glue onto a piece of cardboard.
