Organzing a comic book on your Mac takes very little time or effort.

The popularity of comic books has endured for many years and certainly seems unlikely to fade any time soon. For this reason, you may wish to create your own comic book. Even if you have gone out and bought books and software for comic book design, there is one aspect you may not have considered yet: organizing the comic book on your computer. By considering the content of your book, you can effectively organize and manage your comic book.

Instructions

    • 1

Save each page of your comic book individually. Number them so your Mac will store them in order.

    • 2

Divide your comic book into sections or chapters. Even if you do not plan on publishing it with these sections, it will help keep you organized when sifting through your pages.

    • 3

Create a folder for each section of your comic book. You can do this by selecting "File" in the Finder program and clicking "New Folder." Name your folder and hit "Return" on your keyboard.

    • 4

Move the correlating pages into each file. You can highlight them and copy/paste them to the file or highlight and drag them to the file.

    • 5

Finish by creating one last folder that will hold the entire contents of the comic book. This will be helpful should you decide to make more issues in the future.

    • 6

You can save these files to an external hard drive or USB to further protect your files.
