How to Increase Lockpicking in "World of Warcraft"
"World of Warcraft" (WoW) is an online, multiplayer role-playing game released for the PC in 2004. Of all the available character classes, only the Rogue is able to pick locks. There are two types of locks that a Rogue can pick: doors and chests. For many players, a Rogue is needed to open the locked boxes many enemies throughout the game drop. If you are a Rogue, you must increase your lock-picking skills to open harder items. There are three ways to increase your lock-picking skill in WoW.

Open locked boxes. If a locked box gives you a skill point, its name is colored orange. For example, if your lock-picking skill is 175, opening the Steel Lockbox awards you one lock-picking point.

Open locked doors, like the locked door at The Scarlet Monastery. For each locked door you open, you gain a lock-picking point.

Wear the Dark Leather Gloves. When worn, these gloves give your character an additional five points in lock picking. These gloves can be made by a player whose profession is Leatherworking. You can also buy the gloves from auction housing in any major city.
