How to Kill Neochu in "FFXIII"
Neochu is an optional boss that players can battle in the console role-playing game "Final Fantasy XIII." Neochu has strong attacks but is not fast. The smaller enemies that Neochu summons once its health has been reduced makes the battle even more difficult. With more than 2 million health points, Neochu does not die easily, but, with enough patience and perseverance, you can kill this monster. In the Xbox 360 version of the game, players receive an achievement for finishing this battle.

Level up your characters until everyone has at least 10,000 or more health points. Neochu is capable of doing a lot of damage and can knock out party members with one hit if their health is too low.

Place Vanille in your party before initiating the battle and equip everyone with the best accessories that grant resistance to Earth attacks. Accessories that help protect against physical attacks will also help.

Cast Imperil on Neochu as soon as the battle begins. Don't bother with other status ailment attacks because Neochu is immune to most of them. Let one of your party members cast such spells as Haste, Bravery and Protect on everyone to increase the odds. Recast these after Neochu uses its Screech attack because this attack removes four of your protection spells.

Keep casting Imperil until it connects. This will take a few tries but as soon as it does, start casting Death. This is one of the few spells that Neochu is vulnerable to and, if the spell connects, he will die instantly.

Kill the Picochus that Neochu summons by focusing on them one at a time. Neochu has the ability to heal them fully, so if you spread your attacks too thinly, you won't be able to kill them. First use the Dispelga spell to remove their protection before attacking. If any Picochus survive after Neochu succumbs to the Death spell, use Earthquake to finish them all off.

Tips & Warnings
To avoid dealing with the Picochus, reload your game if Neochu manages to summon them before the Death spell takes effect.
Using the Death spell largely relies on luck, It can sometimes kill Neochu instantly, but often it will take a long time.
