How to Share Flickr Pictures on Tumblr

You have several options for sharing your Flickr photos on Tumblr, including syncing your accounts and using your Flickr photos' URL. Syncing your Tumblr account with your Flickr account lets you automatically send the new photos you post to Flickr directly to your blog on Tumblr. For photos you already have on your Flickr photostream, you can use the "Share" on the photo's individual page to share directly on your Tumblr.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Flickr.com and log in to your account.

2. Scroll down to the page footer and click the "Your Account" link.

3. Click the "Sharing & Extending" tab.

4. Click the "Connect" button next to "Tumblr" and then click the "Allow" button when prompted by Tumblr to authorize access to Flickr. Your accounts are now connected, and you can send new photos you upload to Flickr directly to your Tumblr blog.

5. Locate an individual photo from your Flickr photostream that you want to share on Tumblr. Click the photo to go directly to its individual page.

6. Click the "Actions" tab above the photo and then click the "Tumblr" icon. Type any text you want to include with your post into the "Include a message" field. This will appear as the "Description" in your photo post on Tumblr.

7. Click the "More Options" link if you want to select your publishing status or add tags. Type tags, separated by a space, into the "Tags" field. Click the tab next to "Status" to publish your post now, add it to your Queue on Tumblr or save it as a draft.

8. Click the "Post" button to share your photo.
