How to Get in Touch With Someone at Google for a Job
Fortune magazine has rated Google as one of the best companies to work for. Competition for Google vacancies is keen with 1 million people applying per year. Google offers medical insurance, and comprehensive dental insurance. Vision care includes glasses,contacts and exams as well as a flex spending account. New parents enjoy twelve weeks of fully paid child care and even a limited amount of an allowance for take out food! According to Eric Schmidt,Google's executive chairman, "The goal is to strip away everything that gets in our employees' way.".

Go to Google's homepage (www.google.com). Click on About Google tab. (This can be found directly under the section you would enter a search term in). Click on Jobs Tab. (This is found at the top of the page).

Look under Browse Jobs Tab. (A list of US locations is under this section). Click on all US locations tab. (A full listing of US locations will then become visible). Click on desired office location. (For those interested in International locations ,click on all international locations that is located to the right of US locations).

Click on desired location. Look at right hand section of page. Write down office phone number. Scroll down to current openings. Review job description. Call the desired office and ask for contact information for the person in charge of hiring for specific position you are interested in. Contact that person directly. Use both the phone number and email to increase the chances of getting a response.

Tips & Warnings
Hiring personnel are busy. Do not feel rejected if you don't get a reply. It is a good idea to actively read job announcements before calling someone at the Google office.
