Tweety bird, the adorable yellow canary from the Looney Toons series is one of the most loved cartoon characters. Always chased around by Sylvester the cat, Tweety is adorable, funny and very popular among people of all age groups. Drawing a picture of Tweety is not a very difficult task. With its well-rounded body and large feet, the structure is easy to sketch. The color schemes are simple too, making it an ideal drawing subject.

1
Draw a circle for the head, and within it, draw an oval for the cheeks. Draw two small ovals for the eyes and one small oval for the mouth.
-
2
Shape the face, by adding details to the eyes. Draw the insides of the eyes and add long eyelashes. Draw three lines on the head to show Tweety's hair. Draw a curved line around the sides of the circle to show the cheeks.

-
3
Draw two lines from under the face to show the neck. These lines must then diverge into an oblong rectangle, showing the bird's body. Draw two hands sticking out of the body. Add a small tail just at the edge of the rectangle.
-
4
Sketch the feet. This is a simple step, as all you need to do is draw two large heart-shape objects. Tweety's feet are rather large, compared to the body and so make the feet longish, with the toes sticking out.
-
5
Erase the initial outlines of the head and body. Be careful not to erase any detail out of the picture at this step.
-
6
Border the entire picture with a black color pencil. This will make it look sharp and neat. Color the eyeballs black, and border it with blue. Color the lips orange, and the bird's body bright yellow, and the feet mustard yellow. Color uniformly without altering the shading pattern at any point. There is only a slight variation in the color of the body and the feet, but the difference should be made very clear.

Tips & Warnings
While drawing the circles and lines for the initial structure of the bird, do not press the pencil in to the paper too much, as these lines have to be erased out and will not remain in the final draft.
While coloring the picture, do not mix up the shades of yellow. You will need two different shades for the body and the feet. If you are confused between the two, check the label on the crayons or ask a friend for help.
