How to Use the Bluetooth on My Motorola KRZR K1M

You can connect most Bluetooth devices to your KRZR K1M.

Bluetooth connectivity is a given for modern cell phones, since Bluetooth allows you to use wireless devices such as speakers, headphones and MP3 players. Setting up your Motorola KRZR K1M to work with Bluetooth is a two-step process. You must activate Bluetooth on the phone; and once Bluetooth is activated you must search for and activate a connection with your Bluetooth device.

Instructions

1. Press the KRZR's Select key, which is located in the center of the directional key pad.

2. Highlight "Settings" and press Select to access the settings menu. Navigate to "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Setup".

3. Scroll down to "Power" and press Select.

4. Scroll down to "On" and press Select. This activates your phone's Bluetooth feature.

5. Set your Bluetooth device to pairing mode. See your device's user guide if you don't know how to set it to pairing mode.

6. Navigate to "Settings" > "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Handsfree" > "Look For Devices". Your phone will search for devices that are within the phone's Bluetooth range.

7. Scroll to the entry for the device that you wish to pair to your phone.

8. Press the Select key to connect to the Bluetooth device.

9. Type in the device's PIN code if prompted to do so. The default code for most devices is 0000.
