How to Bypass an Avic F900BT

Your Avic in-dash navigation is simple to unlock.

The Avic F900BT is an in-dash navigation system. This provides you with turn-by-turn directions, points of interests, maps and Bluetooth wireless technology. To use your navigation system, you need to unlock it. Unlocking your navigation system means to remove its user restrictions. Your Avic manufacturer will provide you with a DVD disc to bypass restrictions. You may also purchase one through the dealership that installed your system.

Instructions

1. Get into your vehicle. Insert the key in the ignition to start the engine.

2. Press the "Power" button on your navigation system. Press the "Eject" button. The tray will pop out.

3. Insert the DVD disc into the tray. It will automatically accept the disc and close. Wait for the system to update and bypass restrictions.

Tips & Warnings

• Ask your manufacturer or dealership to send the disc to your home address.
