How to Fight North Carolina Speeding Laws
Just because you've received a speeding ticket doesn't mean you have to pay it. In North Carolina, as in other states, you're welcome to contest your speeding ticket in court. Not only are speeding tickets costly, they can raise your insurance premiums. Each county in North Carolina has a different setup for dealing with speeding tickets; some have special traffic courts, while in others you simply go to circuit court. Either way, you must contest the ticket in the county in which you received it.
