How Do I Log into McAfee When the Site Is Blocked?

McAfee is an Internet security suite that keeps your computer protected from virus, Trojans, spyware and other malware. McAfee lets all paid subscribers log in to the McAfee website to view their accounts and make desired changes. If for some reason the McAfee website is blocked on your computer, you may want to follow certain troubleshooting steps to unblock it and continue accessing your McAfee account. These steps won't work if McAfee is blocked by a content filter on your network.

      Click "Start" and "Control Panel."

      Click "Classic View" in the left pane. Double-click "Internet Options."

      Click the "Content" tab. Click the "Settings" button under "Content Advisor." Type administrator password if/when prompted.

      Click the "Approved Sites" tab. Type the URL "https://home.mcafee.com/secure/protected/login.aspx" (without quotes), and click "Always." Click "Apply" and then "OK."

      Re-launch your Web browser. Navigate to the McAfee Login Web page. You will be able to access it.
