How to Edit My Moderators in Meebo

Create a chat room in Meebo.

Meebo is an instant-messaging application that connects different kinds of popular IM platforms such as AIM, Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger. Meebo does not require you to download a program as the software runs right from your Web browser. When you create a chat room within Meebo, you are a moderator by default. Moderators have the capability to ban other users and control aspects of the chat room such as its size and title. Chat rooms are formed via the Meebo website.

Instructions

1. Log in to the Meebo Messenger or access the Meebo create website.

2. Select the users that you wish to invite to your chat session. Name your chat room and determine its size via the drop-down menu.

3. Enter a password in the "Password" field in order to restrict access to your chat room.

4. Right-click the name of a Meebo user. Select "Add Moderator" to grant them with moderator capabilities.

Tips & Warnings

• A Meebo user doesn't have to be present in your chat room to make them a moderator, but they have to be logged into the service. Moderators can ban users from the chat room by right-clicking their names and selecting "Ban."
