How to Transfer iTunes From Windows to a MacBook Pro
Apple's iTunes software is required for managing iPod, iPad and iPhone devices. Apple's iTunes is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating system platforms. On both types of systems, iTunes stores all of its files in a subfolder within the Music folder under the user's account on the computer. You can transfer iTunes from Windows to a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X by copying the iTunes folder from the Windows installation to the MacBook Pro.
