How Do I Unblock Internet Sites by Websense?
With Websense a network administrator gains control of the network and protects it by blocking Internet sites that may pose malware, virus and spyware threats. This Internet filtering platform keeps users from accessing certain sites; however, the filters may sometimes block websites that shouldn't be restricted and are safe to look at. You can work around this issue using Web proxies, which are websites that connect you to any blocked site through their server, bypassing the network that is operating Websense.

1
Navigate to Unblock Websence, Unblock-World or ProxLog (see Resources). These free proxies enable you to unblock websites that Websense is filtering on your network, plus they protect your privacy by camouflaging your IP address.

2
Enter the address of the website Websense is prohibiting access to in the URL bar situated on the bottom region of the page. The exact location of the URL bar varies slightly depending on the proxy being used.

Click the button next to the URL bar that says "Go." Thereafter the proxy will unblock Websense's filtering settings and you'll gain unlimited access to the site you entered through the proxy's server.
